I'm catching up on my Ultimate backlog.
Seriously you could choke a donkey with what I got gathering dust in my too read pile.
Worked though Ultimatum. they have some serious issues with decapitation. Every one was getting their heads removed, exploded or eaten. So many headless cadavers. Wow. Ultimate Hulk, finally it may have taken them two years to pull issue 3 out of their ass, but then it took me another year to get around to reading 3,4,5 and 6. I'm not sure if I can stomach reading that annual by Jeph Loeb. The guy is bollocks.
I thought Spidey was dead and the clone girl had taken over because I took a 6 month gap between reading requiem part one and requiem part two... i always knew peter and Gwen should be toeghether. Mary Jane is just a consolation prize because the love of his life is dead... Gotta love those clones. I want Kenny and Shadow cat to get back together, but now that Johnny storm is living under the same roof as Pete and Gwen and... May, don't you dare Mrs Robinson that matchstick!
I've got at least two years of fantastic four ahead of me tonight. it was just so directionless and flavourless under carey that I just couldn't seen any reason to continue.

Ultimate X-men was mystifyingly biege. Rogue getting all antsy about how no one trusts her after 7 years, and everyone getting utterly fracked.
This what is happing now with the falling and the massacring is what I was thinking was going to happen in Fall of the Mutants back in 88 or Mutant massacre the year after that.

Ultimate Fantastic Four didn't tell a well written story by the end, since between the badly written stories constructed to fit into trade paperback partitioning there was no message or unifying theme, despite the spectacular first 35 issues I can understand why this book was cancelled as the Ultimate Universe was shrunk to a more wieldly beast.
The identity of the Ultimate Red Scull is somewhat interesting.
But I'm spent. I'm done.
