So far, looks pretty promising. I generally only read trades, but I may pick up the first 3 issues just to give the book some support.

I've been meaning to get into more Rick Remender comics. So anybody else excited?

You probably know that marvel age was a magazine format comic similar to marvel previews made from 1984 though to possibly 1997 in which Fred had the middle staple pages to ramble on incoherently, and the back page where he had a humourous calendar with imaginary holidays and hijinks.

While he was still writing Hulk, Peter David had to write a please cease and desist letter to Fred because the caladar mocked Rick Jones (Monthly and without mercy) for being the hugest loser on the planet all the while while PAD was trying to bolster the side kick into a leading man.

I read it. Quite good.

But really, the back and forth just makes Stephen look like a punk.

Not being American, I just realised what I said.

I was more thinking of how ridiculously beholden people like Hal Jordan were to the Guardians in the gold and silver ages calling them gods and master and kneeling and poop, but then you have to bring the whole 200 years of Slavery issue to point hat you "can't" realistically/politically have a black guy, who is not American either, so it should matter a hell of a lot less, calling a white guy "master" even completely out of context... Oh, Star Wars. It's hard not to think of Darth Vader as James Earl Jones, who was pretty good on House M.D. last fortnight.

It will be a fine day when Black characters can kneel at the foot of a wise teacher of a different ethnicity and call them master and there are no racial/slavery connections (by the creators or the readers)

I was there for about 80 seconds before liberal guilt blindsided me.

Stephen was Master of the Mystic Arts for years before he became officially the Sorcerer Supreme in a very Pretty hardcover where Doom was making a stab for the job as well. You have to wonder that if things went better for Doom back then if the Eye would have still have rejected him? Baron Mordo spent one would assume most of his life learning at the Ancient One's feet before he was cast aside for an upstart who it finally seems was merely a flash in the pan who'll be forgotten about soon enough. Doom's contribution to the story last week was fangasmic but Mordo will have a similar conversation to have with the new Sorcerer Supreme for sure.

I discovered today that it was Jessica "Lucille Bluthe" Walter who played the villainess Morganna LeFay in the notorious 1978 Doctor Strange TV Movie. I can barely conceive how beautiful that women might be if you strip thirty years off her. Wait! I may have seen her episode of Magnum PI recently?

Bendis had him try to breach Bleecker streets defences back when Stark's S.H.I.E.L.D. was running point against the New Avengers, which would put Doctor Voodoo on the Initiatives asset lists, although it was said early on that the Government was afraid of Doctor Strange and that it will make concessions to Stephen Stranges powerfulness during a Wolverine written by Guggenheim. Does that mean that anyone who is Sorcerer Supreme has been afforded total cart blanch enough to dictate terms to the US Government unilaterally? Which honestly seems to be going completely against Noman Osborn's MO of forcing heroes into public tizzy tantrums whereafter they are universally branded enemies of the state... Or do you think that Tigra should have handed over her half skrull baby to H.A.M.M.E.R.'s ethically vacant Labrats and technicians?

Will the Government try to place undue and ridiculous limits (getting close back tot hat subject before again.) on Drumm under threat of imprisonment or castration like they are with everyone else? I wonder wht Jerry's response to be treated like a child by rank amateurs will be?
